The Pre-programmed Twin with the Active Clip

Dr. John C. Voudouris DDS, D. Orth, MSc(D)

Educator, Clinician, Researcher and Developer. Division Biological Sciences, Department of Orthodontics, teaching Orthopedics and Biomechanics, New York University, College of Dentistry, Manhattan, NY. Published the pivotal paper in Siamese Twin Ligature-free appliance comparisons AJO/DO, Feb. 1997,* JCO Jan. 1997*

Developed the Passive with Active, ligature-free system In-Ovation, to complement the practical technique of Interdisciplinary Flow Mechanics. Dr. Voudouris has been fully committed to improving quality standards of orthodontic care for over 17 years by teaching tangible efficiencies. Ultimately, establishing End-of-Retention goals must also be interconnected to appliance efficiency for patients.

Awarded the American Association of Orthodontists’ most prestigious Milo Hellman Clinical Research Award, Los Angeles, California 1989. He demonstrated clinically significant Condylar-Glenoid Fossa Modifications in treatment with decreased EMG activity, and reviewed minimal growth modification in retention. Published the Growth Relativity Theory AJO/DO, March 2000**

Associate in Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, University of Toronto, teaching Biomechanics from 1986-1990. He is the recipient of the Aaron Posen Award for Clinical Excellence and Creativity, University of Toronto.
